manchester united are planning a double swoop for Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku, according to reports.
United are ready to splash out £65m on Chelsea playmaker Hazard after being told Gareth Bale is not for sale, reports the Star.
Hazard has been a major disappointment as Chelsea have plummeted this season.
The Star quote a United source as saying: “The club has to be realistic and realise that signing Gareth Bale or Cristiano Ronaldo remains a long shot, which means alternative targets come into the equation.
“Eden Hazard is certainly one of those and the type of player United need if they want to start winning trophies again.”
Meanwhile the Mirror claim United will move for Lukaku at the end of theEden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku, season, having accepted Everton won’t sell this month.
The Belgian international has scored 19 goals this season and is sure to be one of the most sought-after players in the summer.
